The heating coils in vape cartridge tanks heats your oil, giving off the vapor. Different types of vape coils provide assorted vaping experiences. Higher resistance coils create lower wattage, and may be better for beginners, whereas lower resistance coils require more power, but also produce more vapor. Vape cartridge tanks can either be disposable or reusable. It all depends on your preferences.

Are Ceramic Coils or Quartz Coils Best?

Oil cartridges contain a heating element, which is responsible for turning your oil into vapor. Quartz coils are known for their ability to heat up quickly, and produce large clouds of strong, flavorful vapor. However, Quartz isn’t as durable, so may need to be replaced more frequently. Ceramic coils are known for their ability to provide consistent, even heat, which can help to preserve the flavor of your oil. Ceramic is more durable than quartz, so you’ll have to replace your coil less frequently. However, Ceramic coils may not produce as much vapor as quartz coils, and the flavor may not be as strong.

How to Fill an Empty Cartridge

Unsure how to load oil into your cartridge, without making a mess? Use a Distillate Syringe! These take the hassle out of refilling – and ensure none of your precious oil goes to waste. For full info and guidance – Read How to fill a vape cartridge now!

Best Voltage For My 510 Cartridge Video

We recommend using the 3.7 voltage setting on your cartridge battery. However, choosing the best voltage for your oil vape cartridge depends on the  viscosity of your oil. Use a higher voltage for thicker oil. This will use more power, producing thicker clouds of vapor – but note that this will use up your oil faster. Using a lower voltage means that your oil will last longer, but you wont get full hits. Read our cartridge voltage guide here, or watch the video below for more!

Why Does My Vape Cartridge Taste Burnt?

If you feel that the vapor from your oil cartridge tastes burnt or overly harsh, then the oil is likely being overheated. This could be too high heat in your coil, or too high heat settings on your cart battery. Try turning the voltage down to the lowest settings on your cart battery. It could also be that the oil is high quality and is potent. Either way, you can use a device that has a water bubbler to help soften the harshness of the vapor. Try the Hamilton PS1 which you can fill with water, or the Pulsar Gigi H20 which attaches to a water pipe. This will give you cooler, milky hits.

0.5ml + 1.0ml Magnetic Vape Cartridge Adapters

Not all cartridge tanks require a magnet. Whether or not a magnet is required, depends on the cartridge battery that you’re using. Cartridge magnets come in 2 sizes. There are magnets for 1ml+ cartridges, which are the shorter magnet of the 2. There are magnets for 0.5ml cartridges, which are the longer magnet of the 2. These magnets are longer because the connection of smaller carts protrude less. So longer magnets ensure they reach the contact point on the cart battery.

Simply screw the magnet onto your 510 thread vape cartridge, click it onto the magnetic connection of your cart battery, and you’re ready to vape!
