How Many Watts Are Enough?

There’s been some serious pandemonium surrounding super high wattage box mods. It was only about a year ago when Sigelei and Pioneer4You started releasing mods going to 100 watts or more and now the market is completely saturated with 150, 180, 200 and 250 watt box mods!

Is it really that serious? Do you really need a mod that goes to 250 watts?

Unless you vape for a living, and by “for a living” we mean you do competitions or something of the sort to earn income to pay your bills, vaping that high is a bit ridiculous. Even if you do compete in competitions, the rules usually prohibit the use of regulated mods. It’s OD.

Even for cloud chasers, no one is vaping at 200 plus watts on a regular basis. At the very most, 150 watts is what you’ll need for super sub-ohm resistance coil builds like .05 ohm. The majority of vapors that visit the Discount Vape Pen store are vaping below 100 watts.

Is this what the FDA is talking about by noting in there proposal about restrictions on the box mod cpu chips?

Please, if you vape over 150 watts, can you provide us with some insight? Let us know what you think.

they might keep releasing mods going higher and higher in wattage but lets be honest no ones going to vape at 200 or even 300 plus watts on the regular its turned into kind of a gimmicky thing, i always find myself going back to 70-100 which is where il be sticking even though i have a 300w mod, when this one goes to shit i wont be getting anything more powerful its a waste of money even cloud chasers wont vape at 300w on the regular plus you’d end up spending so much money on juice that vaping will become a chore rather than something you enjoy, lastly i doubt vaping anywhere over 150 watts would be beneficial for flavour or the enjoyment of the vape itself, rant over kids hope we all learned a few things today dont buy into all the marketing hippy shit go spend that money on a ton of juice or food 😀
