Cheap E-Rigs: Best Budget Electric Dab Rigs Under $75 (2026)
5 E-Rigs Under $75 That Actually Deliver
You don’t need to spend $200+ to get a real e-rig experience. These five devices — all between $59.99 and $72.99 — give you water-filtered dabs, temperature control, and replaceable coils. No torch. No guesswork.
Each one does something slightly different. This guide tells you what that is, so you can pick the right one and skip the rest.
→ Most Portable ($59.99): Lookah Octopus Mini — Smallest e-rig we carry. Fits in a jacket pocket.
→ Best Battery + Lowest Temp ($69.99): Randy’s Grip Plus — 1800mAh, 400°F floor, 27 sessions per charge
→ Smoothest Hits ($69.99): Pulsar Dabtron 2.0 — 6-arm tree percolator. Nothing else under $75 filters like this.
→ Best All-Rounder ($72.99): Lookah Dragon Egg — Most popular budget e-rig on the market. Proven track record.
What to Look for in a Budget E-Rig
Four things separate a good cheap e-rig from a waste of money.
Real water filtration. Not a mouthpiece clip-on — an actual built-in water chamber. All five devices here have one. That’s what makes vapor smooth. Without it, you’re just buying a dab pen with extra steps.
Replaceable coils. Coils wear out. When they do, you need to swap them — not buy a new device. Every e-rig here uses replaceable coils. Lookah uses 910 or 710 quartz. Randy’s and Pulsar use ceramic atomizers. Replacements are easy to find.
At least three temperature settings. Low temp = more flavor. High temp = more vapor. You want to be able to choose. All five devices here give you that.
USB-C charging. All five. No hunting for a proprietary cable.
The 5 Best Cheap E-Rigs
1. Lookah Octopus Mini — Most Portable ($59.99)
Shop the Lookah Octopus Mini →
This is the smallest e-rig we sell. Under 4 inches tall. Fits in a jacket pocket. That alone makes it worth knowing about if you want to dab on the go.
It comes with a 910 quartz coil, a built-in bubbler, and a dab tool stored inside the body. Three temps: 464°F, 518°F, and 572°F. Color-coded LEDs tell you which setting you’re on — green, blue, white. The preheat takes 15 seconds. Then you choose how you want to hit it.
On-demand mode: hold the button, draw, release. Full control. Auto mode: tap three times, and it runs a 25-second session on its own — both hands free. That second mode is a real help if you’re new to e-rigs and still getting your timing down.
The 600mAh battery handles around 40 sessions. The magnetic mouthpiece and chamber snap off for cleaning. Simple device, simple maintenance.
Key Specs:
- Price: $59.99
- Battery: 600mAh (~40 sessions)
- Coil: 910 Quartz Dish (2 included)
- Temps: 464°F / 518°F / 572°F
- Water filtration: Built-in PCTG bubbler
- Modes: On-demand + Auto (25s)
- Preheat: 15 seconds
- Built-in dab tool: Yes
- Charging: USB-C
Buy it if: You want to dab on the go, or this is your first e-rig and you want to keep it simple.
2. Randy’s Grip Plus — Best Battery and Lowest Temp ($69.99)
Everything included: device, bubbler, 360 coil, orbital cap, tool, cable – ready for premium portable e-rig vaping right out of the box.
The Grip Plus wins two categories in this price range: battery life and low temperature.
The 1800mAh battery gets you about 27 sessions per charge. Nothing else under $75 comes close. If you dab a lot throughout the day, this is the one you want.
The low temp setting is 400°F. That’s the lowest floor in this entire tier — and lower than the Puffco Peak at $220. Why does that matter? If you use live rosin or live resin, those concentrates need low heat to taste right. At 464°F (the Octopus Mini’s starting point), you start to lose the terpenes you paid for. At 400°F, they survive.
The 360° ceramic coil heats from all sides — no cold spots. The orbital carb cap rotates for even airflow. Digital display, haptic feedback, 28-second preheat. Glass bubbler for water filtration. Everything you need is in the box.
Key Specs:
- Price: $69.99
- Battery: 1800mAh (~27 sessions)
- Coil: 360° Ceramic
- Temps: 400°–520°F | 3.2V / 3.45V / 4.2V
- Water filtration: Glass bubbler + orbital carb cap
- Display: Digital
- Haptic feedback: Yes
- Preheat: 28 seconds
- Charging: USB-C
Buy it if: You dab frequently and need maximum sessions per charge. Also the best pick if you run live rosin or live resin and want real low-temp control.
3. Pulsar Dabtron 2.0 — Smoothest Hits Under $75 ($69.99)
If smooth, cool hits are what you’re after — this is your device.
The Dabtron 2.0 has a 6-arm bullet tree percolator. Vapor moves through six separate water columns before it reaches you. No other e-rig under $75 filters vapor like this. The difference is real — you feel it on the draw.
Four preset temps: 400°F, 450°F, 500°F, and 550°F. The 360° ceramic atomizer heats evenly across the whole chamber. The mouthpiece is zirconia — it flips down to stay clean between sessions. Most budget devices use plastic. This one doesn’t. Digital display on the back, haptic feedback when it’s ready, directional carb cap so you can steer the airflow.
The percolator removes for deep cleaning. That matters over time. Resin builds up in a perc and kills vapor quality. Being able to pull it out and soak it in ISO keeps the device performing like new for longer.
1500mAh battery. 1-year warranty.
Key Specs:
- Price: $69.99
- Battery: 1500mAh
- Coil: 360° Ceramic atomizer
- Temps: 400°F / 450°F / 500°F / 550°F
- Water filtration: 6-arm tree percolator (removable)
- Mouthpiece: Zirconia flip-up
- Carb cap: Directional pivoting
- Display: Digital
- Haptic feedback: Yes
- Warranty: 1-year
- Charging: USB-C
Buy it if: You want the smoothest, coolest hits in the budget tier. The 6-arm percolator is the best filtration you’ll find under $75.
4. Lookah Dragon Egg — Most Popular Budget E-Rig ($72.99)
The Dragon Egg has been around long enough to earn a real reputation. It’s one of the most popular budget e-rigs on the market — which means tons of user reviews, a big community, and replacement coils that are easy to find.
The egg-shaped design splits into two halves. Battery and electronics on top. Water chamber on the bottom. That bottom-fill layout keeps water away from the electronics — good for long-term reliability. The 710 quartz coil heats fast. Three voltage settings: 3.2V for flavor, 3.6V for balance, 4.0V for clouds. You can also swap to three other Lookah 710 coil types once you’ve got a feel for what you prefer.
LED ambient lighting. Digital display. Tempered glass mouthpiece. Haptic feedback. 950mAh battery. It looks great, hits well, and has a track record to back it up.
If you’re buying this as a gift, start here. It looks good, it’s easy to use, and there’s plenty of help online for new users.
Key Specs:
- Price: $72.99
- Battery: 950mAh (~20–30 sessions)
- Coil: 710 Quartz Dish Type C (4 types compatible)
- Temps: 3.2V / 3.6V / 4.0V
- Water filtration: Acrylic bubbler + rib percolator
- Mouthpiece: Tempered glass
- LED lighting: Yes
- Display: Digital
- Charging: USB-C
Buy it if: You want a proven device with a real track record. Also the best e-rig to give as a gift.
5. Lookah Mini Dragon Egg — Compact with Newer Coils ($65.99)
Shop the Lookah Mini Dragon Egg →
This is a smaller Dragon Egg with an upgraded coil. The 910-series quartz runs more precise temps than the 710 coils in the full Dragon Egg. Perspex bubbler, rib-cage percolator, magnetic flip cap, tempered glass straw mouthpiece.
One thing to know: this device runs hotter than the others. Temp range is 518°F to 626°F. That’s great for shatter and wax. Not the best pick if you want low-temp sessions with live rosin.
Key Specs:
- Price: $65.99
- Battery: 500mAh
- Coil: 910 Quartz Dish (2 included)
- Temps: 518°F / 572°F / 626°F
- Water filtration: Perspex bubbler + rib percolator
- Mouthpiece: Tempered glass straw
- Charging: USB-C
Buy it if: You want the Dragon Egg look in a smaller size, and mainly run shatter or wax.

First Time Using an E-Rig? Read This First
Switching from a dab pen to an e-rig is simple. Here’s what’s different.
Fill the water chamber before you do anything else. Fill to the marked line — usually just above the percolator. Too little and the filtration doesn’t work well. Too much and water can get into the vapor path. Fill, reattach, then power on.
Don’t load your concentrate before the preheat. This is the #1 beginner mistake. If you load cold concentrate onto a cold coil and then fire it up, it melts and runs before the coil is hot enough to vaporize it. You waste product and get a weak hit. Wait for the preheat to finish first — then load.
Start at the lowest temp setting. Every device here produces vapor at low temp. Start there. Low = more flavor. High = more vapor. Find your preference before you commit to a setting.
Swab the coil right after each session. While it’s still warm. Q-tip, a little ISO alcohol, 10 seconds. Residue wipes off easily when warm. Let it cool and it hardens. Budget coils die fast when they’re not cleaned. This one habit extends coil life significantly.
Want to Step Up?
If you outgrow the budget tier, the next step is the Auxo Cira at $160. Dual 2200mAh batteries, 450–1000°F in 10°F steps, OLED display, and both titanium and quartz nails in the box. It’s a real jump in capability — and still $60 less than the Puffco Peak.

What’s the difference between an e-rig and a dab pen? A dab pen is compact and portable — load it, fire it, done. An e-rig has a built-in water chamber. Vapor passes through water before it reaches you, which makes each hit smoother and cooler. E-rigs are bigger and need water to work properly. They’re better for home sessions. Dab pens are better for on the go. See our Dab Pen vs E-Rig guide for the full breakdown.
