Are Elf THC and Elf Bar brands affiliated?

No, Elf THC and Elf Bar are not the same brand. They are not affiliated. Elf Bars are filled with nicotine e-liquid, whereas Elf THC vapes are filled with THC concentrate oils. They are two different brands.

Elf Bar came first in 2018, and became super popular in the USA. Elf Bar were then sued by a UK company for copyright infringement, and had to change their name to EB Design. They’ve since changed the names a second time, and are now called EB Create.

Elf THC is a much younger company. Their disposable vapes have been designed to mimic many of the design characteristics of the Elf Bar; The boxy disposable shape, smooth rounded corners, brightly colored devices, and identical logo typeface. The difference is that Elf THC vapes contain THC, whilst Elf Bar vapes contain nicotine.

Why Elf THC look like Elf Bars

The design similarities were certainly no accident, but instead an intentional marketing decision. There are 2 massive benefits for Elf THC of the decision to look like Elf Bars;

1. Piggy-backing on the brand recognition success of the word ‘ELF’ in the vape world. It’s a tried-and-tested way to cut-through in a crowded marketplace – developing a brand that is already recognizable and popular.
2. Vapers realizing that they can stealth vape THC in public, as onlookers will assume they are only vaping nicotine. The opportunity to vape THC oils discreetly, is particularly desirable for vapers located in States with stricter 420 laws.

There is however a drawback for Elf THC of having such a similar brand to Elf Bar. A lot of vapers are confused as to whether they are real or fake!

Is Elf THC real or fake?

Yes, Elf THC is a real brand. Elf THC Certificates of Analysis show that their products are independently 3rd party lab tested. The testing was carried out by hemp testing industry leader ACS Laboratory, which is both DEA licensed and CLIA licensed. The products contain <0.3% Delta-9 THC, and comply with the 2018 Farm Bill.

However, the vapes aren’t Elf Bar THC! Elf THC is a separate brand to Elf Bar (which is now called EB Create).
