Every Ooze Cart Battery Ranked & Reviewed
The Brand That Puts Personality Into 510 Batteries
Ooze is the only 510 battery brand that makes a banana you can vape from, a robot whose face is a screen, and a mushroom that glows in the dark — while also selling one of the most reliable budget pens on the market. That range is what makes them unusual. Most brands pick a lane: budget, premium, novelty, or practical. Ooze runs all four at once.
We carry 10 Ooze 510 cart batteries. This guide covers every one of them — what it does, what it costs, who it’s for, and how it compares to the rest of the Ooze lineup. If you already know you want an Ooze battery but don’t know which one, start here.

Pen-Style Batteries
Ooze Smart Battery — Best Value Ooze Pen ($11.99)
The Smart Battery is the upgraded version of the original Ooze 650 Standard — the pen that used to sit in orange acrylic displays at every gas station and liquor store in America. The upgrade adds an LED screen, five voltage levels, and a USB charger in the box. The original didn’t even come with a charger.
Five voltage settings run from 2.0V to 4.0V — the 2.0V floor is lower than most pen-style batteries, which means it handles live resin and CBD carts better than you’d expect from a $12 pen. The LED screen at the base shows your battery percentage and voltage level. Dual charging ports let you charge via the included 510 USB charger on top or a USB-C cable on the bottom. The 510 charger has built-in overcharge protection. 650mAh is enough for a full day of moderate use, and auto shutoff after 12 minutes of inactivity helps conserve battery.
Buy it if: You want the most battery and features for the least money in the Ooze lineup. 650mAh, 5 voltages starting at 2.0V, screen, and dual charging for $11.99 is hard to beat.
Ooze Slim Clear — Transparent Style Pen ($11.99)
The Slim Clear is a transparent-bodied pen that lets you see the internal components. It’s a visual conversation piece more than a specs leader — the 400mAh battery and 3 voltage settings (LED-indicated) are functional but basic. Prep mode (double-click) runs a quick warming cycle for thick oils. If you like the way clear/transparent devices look and you want a reliable pen at a low price, the Slim Clear delivers. If you want more features, the Smart Battery costs the same and gives you 650mAh and 5 voltages.
Buy it if: You want the transparent look. Otherwise, the Smart Battery is the better $11.99 pick.
Ooze Slim Twist — The Twist-Dial Classic ($15.99)
The Slim Twist is Ooze’s modern take on the eGo-C Twist concept — a numbered twist dial on the base that adjusts voltage from 3.3V to 4.8V. The voltage numbers are printed right on the dial, so you always know your setting without counting clicks or reading LEDs. Preheat mode (double-click) warms thick oils. USB-C charging.
The trade-off is battery life. At 320mAh, the Slim Twist is the smallest battery in the Ooze lineup. You’ll charge daily, possibly twice if you’re a heavy user. The voltage floor of 3.3V is also higher than the Smart Battery’s 2.0V — it can’t go low enough for live resin or CBD carts that benefit from sub-3.0V settings.
Buy it if: You specifically want the twist-dial voltage adjustment and you like seeing the number on the dial. If you don’t care about the dial format, the Smart Battery has more battery life and a lower voltage floor for $4 less.
Conceal Batteries
Ooze Hivo — Best Budget Conceal Battery ($11.99)
The Hivo is a thick, chunky conceal battery — imagine a fat highlighter. Pull the top cap off, screw in your cart, replace the cap, and the cart disappears completely inside the body. The digital screen shows your voltage and battery percentage. Five voltage settings from 1.8V to 4.2V give you the widest range of any Ooze conceal battery. Prep mode for clogs. USB-C (cable not included).
The limitation is cart size. The Hivo’s chamber fits 0.5g and standard 1g carts with round mouthpieces. Taller mouthpieces and wider 2g carts won’t fit inside the cap — though you can still use them without the cap on the base. The swappable color caps are a fun touch — buy two colors and mix them for a custom look.
Buy it if: You want concealment with a screen and wide voltage range for under $12. Best for 0.5g and 1g carts.
Ooze Peel Banana — The Funniest Battery on the Market ($14.99)
It’s a banana. You vape from it. Pull the top off to reveal the 510 thread. Your cart screws in and hides completely inside the banana body. The digital screen sits below a banana icon — it shows voltage and battery level. 400mAh, variable voltage, prep mode, auto shutoff after 10 minutes, USB-C.
The Peel is a gift battery. It’s the thing you pull out at a party and everyone laughs. It also works perfectly fine as a daily driver if you don’t mind carrying a banana. The concealment is genuine — nobody expects a banana to be a vape. Available in Mellow Yellow and Slime Green.
Buy it if: You want the funniest possible vape battery. Or you need a gift for someone who has a sense of humor.
Novelty Character Batteries
Ooze’s character batteries — Bot, Hoot, and Shroom — all share the same internal platform. Same 650mAh battery. Same 1.8V–4.2V voltage range in 0.1V increments (twist dial). Same dual 510 threads: one concealed inside the body for 0.5g–1g carts and one on top for 2g+ carts. Same digital screen (on the Bot, it’s the robot’s face). Same preheat. Same USB-C. Same $24.99 price.
The only difference is the character design. Pick the one you like looking at.
Ooze Bot — Robot ($24.99)
The Bot’s face is the digital screen. Battery percentage at the top, voltage in the center, puff counter at the bottom. Twist the right dial on its head to adjust voltage. Press the left dial to fire. Pull the legs apart to reveal the concealed 510 thread — drop in a 0.5g or 1g cart and close them up. Bigger carts screw onto the top of the head. Detachable legs let you swap colors with a friend for custom combos. Glow-in-the-dark options available. Comes with a wrist strap.
We covered the Bot in detail in our screen batteries guide and our novelty battery guide. It’s the best novelty 510 battery available — genuinely capable performance wrapped in a collectible design.
Buy it if: You want a fun, collectible battery with real features. Great gift.
Ooze Hoot — Owl ($24.99)
Same platform as the Bot, shaped like a wise owl. Glow-in-the-dark eyes. Dual 510 threads, digital screen, 0.1V voltage control, preheat, 650mAh. Identical performance — different character.
Buy it if: You like owls more than robots.
Ooze Shroom — Mushroom ($24.99)
Same platform again, shaped like a glowing mushroom. Glow-in-the-dark cap. Dual 510, digital screen, 0.1V voltage, preheat, 650mAh.
Buy it if: You like mushrooms more than robots or owls.
Dual Cart Battery
Ooze Duet — Two Carts, One Device ($19.99)
The Duet holds two 510 carts at once. Load two different strains, two different oil types, or a daytime cart and a nighttime cart — and switch between them without unscrewing anything. The IntelliSwitch system lets you fire one cart, the other, or both simultaneously. Independent airflow dials on each side let you control draw resistance per cart.
650mAh battery. 2.0V–4.0V variable voltage. LCD screen. USB-C. The screen shows which cart is active, your voltage, and battery level. At $19.99, it undercuts most dual cart batteries on the market. We compared it to the Yocan DUBB in our dual cart battery guide — the Duet wins on airflow control and the DUBB wins on screen quality and haptic feedback.
Buy it if: You want to run two carts without carrying two batteries. The IntelliSwitch and independent airflow make this the most practical dual cart under $20.
Cart + Wax Crossover
Ooze Duplex Pro — The Vape That Does Both ($34.99)
The Duplex Pro won Best Vaporizer at the High Times Cannabis Cup. It works two ways: screw in a 510 oil cart using the included magnetic adapters (one for 1g carts, one for 0.5g carts), or load wax concentrates into the included dual quartz coil atomizer. Both drop into the same concealed chamber. Switch between carts and dabs in seconds.
900mAh is the largest battery in the Ooze 510 lineup. Four voltage settings from 3.4V to 4.0V — a narrow range compared to other Ooze batteries, but tuned specifically for the dual-use cart+wax design. 15-second prep mode. Zinc alloy body with a magnetic trigger-style button that runs the full length of one side. The magnetic button cover is removable, revealing the LED voltage indicators underneath.
The trade-off is the higher voltage floor. At 3.4V minimum, this isn’t ideal for live resin or CBD carts that prefer sub-3.0V. It’s built for standard distillate carts and wax concentrates — and it does both well.
Buy it if: You use both oil carts and wax concentrates and you want one device for both. The 900mAh battery and High Times pedigree back it up.
