The 3.0 steps up to a 500mAh battery (versus the Mini’s 310mAh and the original Seahorse 2.0’s 650mAh-class battery) with 500mA USB-C fast charging, three voltage settings (3.2V / 3.6V / 3.9V), and two operating modes: manual press-and-hold for on-demand control, and a timed automatic cycle (15-second preheat + 25-second output) for hands-free sessions. The 510 screw connection supports the full Seahorse coil family plus compatible third-party atomizers. Two Seahorse coils are included. 500mAh Battery — More Sessions, Fast USB-C Charging

The 3.0’s 500mAh battery is a meaningful step up from the Seahorse Mini’s 310mAh — delivering more sessions per charge and longer overall runtime for daily users. USB-C charging at 500mA means faster recharge times than the Mini’s 300mA rate. The separate power indicator LED shows battery level at a glance: green (61–100%), yellow (31–60%), and red (1–30%). When both the power and mode lights flash red eight times, it’s time to plug in. During charging, the mode light rotates red and the power light stays on. Solid green power light + cyan mode light = full charge. The device auto-shuts off after 60 minutes of standby inactivity.

Two Operating Modes — Manual & Automatic

The Seahorse 3.0 gives you two clearly defined ways to dab:

• Manual Mode (Universal): Hold the button to fire, release to stop. Works with Seahorse coils, compatible 510-thread wax atomizers, and CBD atomizers. A 25-second safety cutoff limits each continuous activation. This is the mode for quick, controlled nectar collector dips — heat the tip, touch it to your concentrate, inhale, release.
• Automatic Wax-Atomizer Mode: Triple-click the button within 1.2 seconds to start a timed cycle — 15 seconds of preheat followed by 25 seconds of automatic output. No button-holding required during the cycle. Press once during auto mode to switch voltage on the fly. Triple-click again to exit early and return to standby. Reserved for compatible wax atomizers.

Three Voltage Settings — 3.2V / 3.6V / 3.9V

Double-click the button in standby to cycle through three voltage presets, each confirmed by the color-coded mode LED:

• Green – 3.2V: Low heat — maximum terpene preservation, smooth flavor-forward draws. Best for live resin and rosin.
• Blue – 3.6V: Medium — balanced flavor and vapor production. The everyday setting for most concentrates.

510 Connection — Full Seahorse Coil Compatibility

The 3.0 uses a standard 510 screw connection, making it compatible with Lookah’s entire Seahorse coil lineup — quartz and ceramic options across the Type I through Type V range. Two Seahorse coils are included in the box. The 510 connection also supports compatible third-party wax and CBD atomizers within the 0.4–10 ohm resistance range. The 3.0 and the Mini share the same operating modes, the same voltage settings, and the same Seahorse coil compatibility. The differences come down to battery and charging speed:

Built-In Safety Protections

The Seahorse 3.0 monitors charging, voltage, resistance, temperature, and activation time: overcharge cutoff at 4.30V, over-discharge cutoff at 2.50V, short-circuit and low-resistance protection at 0.4 ohm or below, open-circuit protection above 10 ohm, temperature protection when the internal PCBA exceeds 75°C, and a 25-second continuous-output timeout. The device auto-shuts off after 60 minutes of standby inactivity.

How to Use as a Nectar Collector

Screw a Seahorse coil onto the 510 connection. Turn on the device with five quick clicks within two seconds. Double-click to select your voltage — check the mode LED to confirm (green/blue/white). Place your concentrate in a silicone or glass container. Hold the button, touch the heated coil tip directly to your concentrate, and inhale from the mouthpiece end. Release the button to stop. When finished, five clicks to power off. Allow the heated tip to cool completely before touching, removing, or storing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Turn the device off and allow the coil to cool completely before handling. Use the included cleaning brush to remove loose residue from accessible areas. Keep the device body and USB-C port dry — the Seahorse 3.0 is not water-resistant and must not be exposed to water. Replace coils when flavor degrades or the device’s circuit protection indicates a connection issue. Do not soak the electronic body in any liquid.
