This might not be because it is a standout leader in terms of performance, rather the affordability of the device gives it the best score in terms of Price-to-Performance ratio. Priced to fit your wallet, and sized to fit your pocket!

Having said that, it does deliver a good experience from your herb. The device has dual coils that have 12 wraps of wire. This gives maximum vapor production, and delivers a good flavor from your herb – particularly on the first few inhales. The strong 1,100mAh battery, and huge dry herb chamber combine to let you puff big, milky clouds all day long. The Yocan Evolve-D Pus heats at the optimal temperature for extracting the most flavor and potency from dry herbs.

There’s a couple of clever features on the device, that let you know it has been designed by genuine vapes. A clever push button cleaning feature allows you to easily pack your herbs inside the chamber, and clean out the ash – Simply push the mouthpiece down to press your herb against the coil, or clean ash from the unit. The huge size of the chamber, combined with this push button cleaning feature, means you don’t have to constantly reload with herb. It also has the convenient stainless storage container in the base of the battery. This lets you discreetly stash your herb whilst on-the-go; keeping your herb stash and herb vape pen combined in the same place.

This device is a fantastic evolution on it’s younger sibling, the Yocan Evolve D, and the larger battery life and storage are welcome upgrades. Overall, the Yocan Evolve D Plus doesn’t have the same performance nor user experience as the Pax 3 dry herb vape. But at a fraction of the price, the Yocan Evolve D Plus is a well designed, affordable dry herb vape pen that most vapers will enjoy!

The Evolve D Plus works very well and lasts 2 days or so with a single charge. The accessories are very affordable as well. The tobacco burns evenly and thoroughly allowing a great hit every time with cleaning made easy with a plunger mouthpiece to push the ashes down along with a brush it comes with. I really like the Yocan Evolve D Plus. It’s great that I don’t have to roll and smoke paper. The only thing that I don’t like is that after about 3 puffs I have to open the top of of the Evolve and mix the contents. I would have given this 5 stars if I didn’t have to do that.

I haven’t quite got the hang of it yet, hoping I still might. It’s hard to dial in how much material is in contact with the coil, and the tamping mouthpiece seems like it ought to work well but it doesn’t– you have to continually unscrew the top section and stir the contents. So half the time you can’t pull anything and half the time you get a bigger harsher pull than you would normally want to subject your lungs to. The battery lasts a long time and I guess it’s nice that it’s compatible with other 510 carts. For the price, it’s been a good experiment, but I’d have paid much more for it I’d probably regret the purchase.

Everything came in the box that was supposed to. Got my order pretty quickly too. I’ve used Yocan products in the past, which helped me make the decision to purchase this one. It has an open coil, so my material got scorched a bit, which made it taste weird, but I found a screen that fits over it and works to protect the coil. It was worth the money, and the service of DVP will definitely bring me back.

This dry herb vape is pretty amazing. Just like a pipe you gotta stir it once or twice depending on how much you pack in it. The mouthpiece mechanism is pretty rad. You can press the herb into the coils. The nice little compartment for stashing can actually hold like maybe a third to a half of the chamber size depending how tight you pack it. Another bonus is that it charges by a micro USB charger, allowing you to vape while it is charging! The only thing I won’t know for a bit is durability. However, it’s only forty bucks with shipping. Overall, it’s a great vape for dry herb. I’ll give it a 4.7 out of five.
